They made the CHINESE look!
When TOP GUN: MAVERICK - the sequel to the ICONIC 80's movie which introduced us to the "need for speed" - hits theaters later this month, you'll get to see a PROP which was SO GOOD... it made CHINESE SPIES move their SPY SATELLITES over the film sites just to see what was going on!
So, why? We make movies all the time these days? Well... the producers of the new movie turned to the people who MADE THE SR-71 BLACKBIRD SPY PLANE to design what's being called the SR-72 DARKSTAR.
Designed by Lockheed Martin's SKUNK WORKS, you'll see a plane which looks so insane... its uncanny!
Don't want to say any more, but you can see footage from the premiere "junket" below in which the film's directors SPILL THE TEA about the new plane.
The movie is in theaters later this month.
