DEALING WITH STRESS/ANXIETY
- Even if you remain healthy, it is also important that you take care of YOU!
- If you are feeling sick, call your doctor before going to the ER
- Going stir crazy? Utilize YouTube to find at-home workout videos or yoga practices.
- Yoga with Adriene: https://www.youtube.com/user/yogawithadriene
- Yoga Heights DC: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuGw6sYH1-s3E8U4iGCx9xg/videos
- READ A BOOK! Constantly watching the news or scrolling social media can be overwhelming. Take time away from the screen to read or journal. Also, you can support your local bookstores by ordering online! A great resource is https://www.indiebound.org/.
- Call a friend. Take a few deep breaths. Recognize that while this is a very stressful and unprecedented time, the precautions we are taking NOW will ensure we are able to enjoy life again in a few weeks/months

SMALL BUSINESSES/WORKERS
- We all know that DC runs on small business. If you feel comfortable going out to your local restaurants, bars, etc. with small crowds and/or ordering take-out for pick-up (while taking necessary precautions) please leave generous tips! Servers/bartenders are going to be massively impacted by a decrease in business. Support them now while we still can leave the house.

- Order takeout and TIP YOUR DELIVERY PEOPLE! They are also at risk and in high demand. Be kind to them.
- Get your groceries/supplies from small, local markets! The big stores are already overwhelmed. Now is the time to support smaller stores. And they probably have more stock! Also, be kind to cashiers and all store & service employees. If there was ever a time for empathy, that is now.
