Adele appeared unannounced at a London vigil for the Grenfell Tower fire victims.
She arrived last night without her publicist. Only a few fans recognized her. They tweeted about Adele and posted a few candid photos. One eyewitness said (quote) “Adele was offering her support to everyone affected by the tragedy.” In between long hugs, she wiped tears from her eyes.
A fan remarked (quote) “The fact that Adele has gone to Grenfell Tower and not said a word about it just proves how amazingly sincere she is.”
Another person tweeted (quote) “Adele is such a wonderful person. Shows that just because someone doesn't tweet, doesn't mean they don't care.”
At least a dozen people died in the towering inferno, which fully engulfed the 24-story apartment complex. Emergency crews are sifting through the ashy rubble expecting the death toll to rise. (The Mirror UK)
