If you've seen the classic holiday movie "A Christmas Story", you know how much Ralphie's dad loves the leg lamp he won...a reading lamp shaped like a woman's leg, wearing a fishnet stocking. Mrs. Parker? Not so much. "The Battle Of The Leg Lamp" ensues, and Dad's treasured lamp is destroyed.
The Leg Lamp has become a kitshcy symbol of the holiday season (I bought one for my hubby and we actually leave it out year round in our basement!) and someone came up with this recipe for Leg Lamp Cookies...so, since today is National Cookie Day, I thought you might like to try your hand at baking some!
