Buck and cover! School officials in Powhatan County, Virginia (west of Richmond), say no one was hurt after a deer crashed through the windshield of a school bus and landed on a child in the front seat. The disoriented deer jumped around for a moment before the driver was able to stop, open the door and let him out. The whole scary incident was caught on camera, which you can check out below!
The bus was carrying teenagers from Powhatan High School. Thankfully, no injuries were reported as a result.
Hitting a deer with my car is one of my biggest fears...I never have, thank goodness, but we do have tons of them where we live so I'm always very cautious when I'm behind the wheel.
