Well, here we are, my friend...just about 4 months away from Christmas (bring it on - I'm SO ready!), and Target is going to roughly triple the number of Disney shops in its stores to help drive foot traffic ahead of the holiday season. The retailer said today it will add more than 100 Disney shops to its stores, raising the total to more than 160 by the end of the year. Target began opening Disney shops in some of its 19-hundred stores two years ago, selling Disney-themed items, from toys to costumes. The move continues Target's trend of giving its big-box stores the flavor of malls with scaled-down Starbucks and Ulta Beauty, along with Disney.
