MAJOR development in the case of Gabby Petito's missing fiance'

The FBI in Tampa, Florida is confirming "items of interest" were found at the Carlton Reserve yesterday morning in connection with the search for Brian Laundrie. The agency says an FBI Evidence Response team is processing the scene and that partial human remains have been found along with some of Laundrie's personal items.

Authorities have been searching for the fiancé of Gabby Petito for five weeks now – and in this case, they were essentially led to the site by his parents. The Laundrie family attorney says Chris and Roberta Laundrie informed the FBI and the local police department of their intentions to go to the area Tuesday night – and met officials there yesterday morning.

The particular section in the swampy area was apparently covered in water the last time searchers came through. As the investigation continues, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is also imposing a Temporary Flight Restriction for Venice, Florida – particularly in the area where police have been searching.
