A Canadian couple's bulldog recently gave birth to a litter of puppies, and one of them was just a little early for St. Patrick's Day.
Trevor and Audra Mosher of Nova Scotia helped their three-year-old Freya deliver seven puppies, but then realized she wasn't done. There appeared to be one more and they assumed it was likely stillborn. But the puppy came out and when they cleaned her up, they were shocked to see that she was green. They were worried so they Googled "my puppy is green, what's wrong?" They learned that the discoloration is extremely rare, but has been documented before. The green color is from the puppy coming into contact with the green pigments in bile while in the womb. The color is expected to fade in a few weeks. Meanwhile, the couple is considering several names including Hulkette, Wasabi, Lucky Irish, and Pistachio. (Global News)
